1. Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Softclue Academy, operated by East Midlands Combined County Authority, offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid purchases, including individual course certificates and organisation seat licences. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date — no questions asked.

2. Merchant of Record

All payments on the Platform are processed securely by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. ("Stripe") on behalf of Softclue Technologies LTD. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout, typically within 5–10 business days.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@academy.softclue.uk with your order details (order ID, purchase date, and the email address used at checkout). Our team will review your request and, if approved, process the refund through Stripe back to your original payment method.

4. Effect of Refund on Access

When a refund is issued, the associated entitlement is revoked automatically: certificates purchased with the refunded payment are marked invalid, and organisation seat licences linked to the refunded transaction are deactivated. Course progress data is retained on your account unless you request deletion.

5. Sponsored & Free Enrolments

Learners enrolled by their organisation, or who join through a sponsored programme (e.g. EMCCA cohorts), do not pay at the point of access and are not eligible for refunds — there is no transaction to refund. Refund eligibility belongs to the paying party (the individual learner or sponsoring organisation).

6. Statutory Rights

This Refund Policy is provided in addition to, and does not affect, any statutory rights you have under UK consumer law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
