Excel to a confident intermediate level. SQL basics — SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY. One small dataset analysed end-to-end.

Days 31–60: a real tool

Pick Power BI or Tableau and build three dashboards using public datasets in your existing industry.

Days 61–90: portfolio and outreach

Publish your dashboards with a one-page write-up. Have ten conversations with analysts in your target sector. Apply to ten roles a week with tailored CVs.

What hiring managers actually care about

Curiosity, communication, clean SQL, and one or two portfolio pieces that show you can take an unclear question and produce a clear answer.
